and Wheeling vs. Reading
in Wheeling
|
Lastly, because
tickets in Pittsburgh are in such demand,
the Pittsburgh Penguins have required us to
purchase all of our tickets for the game in
February by October 15th. After
that they will make any un-purchased tickets
available for general sale. So this means
that if you wish to go on the Pittsburgh
trip in February, we must get a $90 deposit
no later than the October 8th
meeting to purchase your ticket. After that
we will not be able to guarantee that we can
get tickets in the same section or same
level if at all. If you purchase a ticket
and come February you are unable to go on
the trip we will make every effort to fill
your seat and refund your money however we
cannot guarantee a refund. We were fortunate
to get C level seats in the same area where
we have always been. These are great seats
in the open and provide a full view of the
arena. So with that in mind, here are the
details of that trip |
-
Depart Saturday, February 23rd at
6:30 am from Quality Inn in Pittston.
We will arrive in Pittsburgh at 12:30 and go right
to the game. Our tickets are in Section C-5. Game
time is 2 p.m. After the game we will meet in the
lobby of the Marriott Hotel, right across from the
Mellon Arena to get your room key and luggage. Those
interested in going to Wheeling will board the bus
at 5:15 pm. We will return to Pittsburgh right after
the game in Wheeling. Everyone will get a voucher
for the breakfast buffet on Sunday morning. We will
depart Sunday morning at 11 am and should be home by
4 pm. Price includes bus, hotel, NHL ticket, and tip
and breakfast on Sunday morning

Tips for Road Trips |
 |
|
Note:
You MUST be a member to go on Club trips.
-
Trips will
depart at the posted time unless otherwise advised. We ask that
all travelers arrive at least 15 minutes prior to departure so
as not to delay the trip. No grace will be allowed. PLEASE BE ON
TIME.
-
Movies are shown on the bus, but none will have a higher
rating than PG-13. We welcome families and children. It is
important to remember courtesy to other travelers. No foul or
obscene language will be tolerated. One warning will be given.
Any future instances will result in that member not being
allowed to travel with us in the future.
-
Please keep the coaches clean. We have made an agreement with
our bus company that we will get the new coaches as long as we
keep them clean. Trash bags are located at the front and rear of
the bus. Please dispose of your trash. If we should stop at a
McDonalds to eat, someone will bring a bag up and down the aisle
for everyone to deposit trash. If there is a spill, please let
us know quickly so we can wipe up the area. All coolers must be
small enough to fit under your seat. They must not leak. No
coolers will be allowed in the aisles or in overhead storage.
-
No smoking on the bus. We make a courtesy stop every 2-3 hours
for members to use the restroom facilities and smoke.
-
Limited alcohol is allowed on the bus. We ask that all members
drink responsibly, and not bother other travelers. Obvious
drunkenness will not be tolerated. Dispose of all bottles and
cans in the trash or your own cooler.
-
Please observe final payment due dates. They are in the
newsletter and at the tables during games.

All additional hotel expenses are your responsibility. We
cover only room costs & taxes. Phone calls, movies, room
